ABOUT
Nigeria's first Article 6.2 carbon credit ecosystem — built on a live, operating facility.
SAGA 6.2 is the digital platform for Nigeria's first Article 6.2 carbon credit ecosystem. The platform documents and showcases a live, operational facility in Eastern Nigeria that integrates agrivoltaics, recirculating aquaculture systems, and biochar production into a single closed-loop operation. Every tonne of carbon sequestered is measured, reported, and verified through a digital MRV (Measurement, Reporting, and Verification) pipeline that feeds directly into Singapore's carbon registry APIs and international auditor portals. This website serves as the public-facing hub where stakeholders can explore the project's technical architecture, view real build progress through a chronological gallery, browse open positions across community, supervisory, and technical roles, apply for apprenticeship programmes through the Hub Education Facility, and initiate partnership or investment conversations with the team.
The platform serves four primary audiences. Investors and corporate partners seeking verified, ITMO-eligible carbon credits under the Paris Agreement's Article 6.2 framework. Government and multilateral institutions engaged in bilateral climate cooperation between Nigeria and Singapore. Local communities in regions across Eastern Nigeria, who receive 30% of all carbon revenue through community trusts and ranger stipends. And prospective team members — from community rangers and biochar operators to software architects and carbon compliance specialists — who want to build their careers on real, operating climate infrastructure rather than pilot concepts or simulations.

SAGA 6.2 is developed and operated by CJ Best Investments Pte Ltd (Singapore Co. Reg: 202302952H), a strategic advisory and cross-border development firm. The project is co-founded by Monica Ojinnaka and John Bassey Ogbonnaya. Monica brings over a decade of on-the-ground experience in international business development across seven countries. John Bassey Ogbonnaya, a former professional footballer who played across Nigeria and in North and South Cyprus before transitioning to engineering and logistics, is Co-Founder & COO of Nigeria operations. John and Monica met through football in 2019 — a connection that evolved from the pitch into a partnership and ultimately became CJ Best Investments and the SAGA 6.2 carbon facility. The Hub Education Facility curriculum is developed in partnership with Nigerian federal universities — including the University of Calabar and the University of Uyo — and accredited by UBEC, NBTE, NUC, City & Guilds, and FIFA/CAF. This platform itself is built on the Base44 development platform, providing the public-facing interface, inquiry management, and application workflows that connect the project to its global and local stakeholders.
